Geologists Rajat Mazumder and Trisrota Chaudhuri followed clues left behind by geologists in the ’80s, about rocks in Champua, Odisha. What they came away with were two zircon fragments, 4 and 4.2 billion years old, from back when the earth was still covered in lava.

Chris Sembroski, a Lockheed Martin employee and US Air Force veteran, strummed a few ukulele chords for home-bound viewers during a 10-minute show-and-tell session by the four-member Inspiration4 team as they flew in a SpaceX capsule at about 17,500 miles per hour (28,000 km per hour) over Europe.
