Recreational Soccer is primarily devoted to the development of youth soccer players. FC Richmond is a family-oriented soccer club that provides an opportunity to play organized soccer at the recreational, developmental and competitive levels for players at ages 3 – 19 years old.
Recreational Soccer. There is no selection/tryout process. Skill evaluations may be held to form teams in a fair and balanced method. All players who register are assigned to a team as long as space is available on team rosters. There is usually a one time registration fee.
Kids in these groups will play against other local youth soccer programs that train like-minded children. Due to the nature of this competitive group, recreational soccer programs will require that the coach have a higher level license and possibly more in-depth knowledge of the game itself.
